Bosch – Unit Testing Interactive Learning Module

Bosch wanted to transform their internal Unit Testing training into something engaging and easy to follow. Instead of static slides, they needed an interactive e-learning experience that simplified complex engineering concepts with storytelling, visuals, and gamification.

Challenge
Unit testing is perceived as technical and tedious. The existing materials lacked engagement and made retention difficult. Bosch needed a design solution that:
Simplified technical concepts visually.
Encouraged active, self-paced learning.
Applied brand-consistent, intuitive navigation.

Approach
We designed a modular learning interface with:
Interactive navigation – clickable paths instead of linear slides.
Visual metaphors – cranes, gears, bugs, and charts to illustrate coding concepts.
Gamification – a playful “bug” mascot that turned debugging into a positive, memorable experience.
Step-by-step diagrams – color-coded flowcharts to simplify refactoring and analysis processes.
